ACME Animation

About the Program

ACME provides an inspiring experience for students and helps prepare them for successful careers in the 21st century.

ACME is an educational service that works with individual students, schools and teachers to provide curriculum and mentoring in creative skills (art, animation, filmmaking, game development).  Through this process, students learn invaluable 21st century skills that they will need when they get out of school:

  • Media and visual literacy
  • Communication
  • Presentation
  • Collaboration,
  • Time management,
  • Giving and receiving constructive feedback.

ACME’s entertainment industry professional mentors help students learn how to express themselves, and teach them the value of mentoring – because they have all benefited from mentoring in their own careers.

ACME follows established curricula for creative skills, and also follows established guidelines for 21st century skills.

Even if they never become professionals in the creative industries, engaging with other students in a project-based, experiential learning  environment helps them learn how to successfully engage in the real world.
